I am Ginjala Hasini from sengkang secondary school. Some things about me are that I love reading storybooks as it teleports me into different worlds and in the perspectives of different people. I also enjoy cycling expecially when I am stressed as it helps me to cool off.
My First Encounter Of Artificial Intelligence being used in real life
My discovery for how artificial intelligence is changing the world came about during my intership at the company Hatch. I assisted the company in generating new ideas for their website using a moodboard. Then i used figma to wireframe a prototype of a website model that contained my ideas!During my interaction with one of the employees, i discovered that Hatch opted to use wix.com which is a platform that helps to create a website with the assistance of artificial intelligence. I was facinated by this as i have always thought that companies traditoinally coded their websites using HTML,CSS,JAVA and other coding languages.Therefore, this was an eye opening experience.

Things i have done during my internship:
Traditonal coding
I took a course on how to create a website from
scratch using coding the lanugages HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT.
Hence, i used those skills to create this website!

After I took that course, I wanted to dwell deeper
into Javascript particularly as it was breifly mentioned
in the course before. Therefore, I took another course on Javascript.
Block coding
I learnt how to code a microbit using block coding for this competition calledStudent Maker Bootcamp. We were tasked to make a prototype of a
solution to make Singapore more clean and green.
For my progect, i suggested to check the PH levels of the
water that is above all
HDB flats to ensure that we drink water
that is at a drinkable PH level.
How does the prototype work
If the PH level is too high, acid would be realised to the water to neutralise it.If the PH level is too low, alkaline would be realised.
This is to ensure that the water is always at PH 7 or 8 which is deamed as drinkable water.

This competition was hosted by Shell where the objective was to come up with an idea to keep singapore sustainable. We had to do extensive research to find out more about sustainability, which was the topic we chose.

Leadership Roles
Art Club Exco
I was an art club exco member since secondary 2.
In secondary 2, I was under publicity where I focused on taking pictures of the lively
environment in art club and encouraging the secondary 1 to join
art club.
From secondary 3 to secondary 4, I was under admin where I looked
out for the wellbeing of my fellow students and ensured that all
the activities were running smoothly.
Environmental Chapmion
I was an environmental champion since 2021. Our job is to ensure that the plants in the school are safe and we planted new plants around the school to make the school more green. We also had to give presentations to our classmates on ways we all can contribute to make Singapore a more clean and green country for all.
One of the things we had to do the most was pluck out weed which were surrounding our healthy plants. Weed is dangerous for growing plants to be surrounded by it as it competes with the plant for nutrients, light and water. It was tiring but as we had to do it under the hot sun but it was worth it.
